3 sheets of special waxed ironing paper which is used between iron and hama beads. Unlike Greaseproof paper, which makes a tolerable substitute, this is treated so as to adhere gently to the beads while heating takes place, so keeping the design intact and avoiding the awful "half the pattern stuck and half didn't" moments, and then lifts lightly away on its own as the beads and paper cool together.
