i think i may be fabulously in love with the djeco sets! i am not particularly good at sticking to the age ranges, and this one in progress by my handy-with-a-needle 5 year old, and my not-so-handy niece. the cards, designs and concepts are all lovely. it is not so hard that they can't do it, as long as i am there to encourage, and they love it! an 8 year old would obviously be more independent. I love this kit for the details - lovely sturdy box, nice embroidery thread, proper needle, firm card. the extra money these kits cost is because they are of v good quality, as well as being beautifully considered, designed and actualised. buy them!
